Ingredients
- 6 dumplings
- 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch or potato starch
1/3 cup water
1 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water to create a slurry. This amount works for 6–7 dumplings.
- Heat a pan over medium heat, add the cooking oil, and arrange the dumplings in the pan.
- Pour the slurry into the pan, make sure it spreads evenly around the dumplings.
- Cover the pan and cook over medium heat until the water evaporates.
- Lower the heat to low, uncover the lid, and continue cooking until the bottom turns crispy and golden brown.
- The slurry will form a delicate, lacy web connecting the dumplings. Enjoy!
