Gochujang Pasta

Ingredients

  • Pasta of your choice (I use fusilli)
  • 1 ribeye steak
  • 14 shrimps
  • Rosemary & thyme
  • Salt and pepper
    Sauce:
  • 8 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 shallot, diced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup pasta water (adjust as needed)
  • 2 tbsp gochujang sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1/2 tbsp chili flakes

Instructions

  1. In a pot, bring water to a boil, add a generous amount of salt, and cook the pasta until it reaches your desired texture.
  2. Meanwhile, sear the shrimp in a pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté the garlic and shallot, then add the heavy cream, pasta water, and gochujang sauce.
  4. Once the pasta is cooked, toss it into the sauce and mix thoroughly. Add the grated Parmesan and chili flakes toward the end.
  5. Sear the steak on the side, and serve it alongside the pasta and shrimp.
