Ingredients
- 3 cups leftover cooked rice
- 5 eggs
- 2 scallions
- 2 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 shallot, chopped
- A sprinkle of MSG
- 2 tbsp sambal
Instructions
- Separate the egg yolks from the whites.
- In a large bowl, mix the leftover cooked rice with the egg yolks until the rice is evenly coated.
- Heat some cooking oil in a pan over medium-high heat, and sauté the white parts of the scallions with the minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add the egg yolk-coated rice to the pan and cook until the grains loosen and separate. Season with a sprinkle of MSG.
- Create a space in the middle of the pan, then add the chopped shallot, separated egg whites, and sambal to the center. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Combine all the ingredients in the pan and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well mixed and cooked through.
