Crispy Salmon Onigiri

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked rice
  • 1 canned smoked salmon
  • 1 tbsp mayo
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 tbsp shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the salmon filling by mixing together the canned smoked salmon, mayo, sriracha, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  2. Using an onigiri mold or by hand, shape the rice, placing the salmon filling in the center.
  3. Heat the cooking oil in a cast iron pan over medium-high heat. Place the onigiri in the pan and cook until the rice is golden and crispy on all sides.
