Ingredients
- 6-7 soup dumplings
- 2 tbsp scallions, chopped
- 2 tbsp cilantro, chopped (optional)
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp fried peanuts
- 5-6 dried chili peppers
- 2 tbsp hot oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp chili powder or Sichuan chili powder
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Steam the dumplings until fully cooked.
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients.
- Heat 2-3 tbsp of neutral oil in a pan until it reaches 380°F. Carefully add the dried chili peppers to the hot oil.
- Pour the hot oil and chili peppers over the sauce mixture in the bowl.
- Heat the chicken broth until it is hot.
- Pour the hot chicken broth over the sauce mixture and stir to combine.
- Add the steamed dumplings to the bowl and mix gently to coat them with the sauce.
