Summer Spinach Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches of spinach
  • 8 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 3 dried chili peppers
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp MSG
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp fried peanuts
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Parboil the spinach for about 2 minutes.
  2. Squeeze out the excess water and place the spinach in a bowl.
  3. Heat the cooking oil in a small pot.
  4. Season the spinach with the minced garlic, sesame seeds, light soy sauce, sesame oil, MSG, rice vinegar, and fried peanuts.
  5. Add the dried chili peppers to the hot oil and let it sizzle for a couple seconds.
  6. Drizzle about 1 tbsp of the hot chili oil over the spinach.
  7. Mix thoroughly and enjoy!
