Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 tbsp furikake seasoning
- 1 slice cheddar cheese
- 1 bag frozen Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken (Laoban brand)
- Toasted sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the popcorn chicken according to package instructions (I used an air fryer for extra crispiness).
- Meanwhile, mix the cooked rice with furikake seasoning and top with a slice of cheddar cheese.
- Lightly torch the cheese until it’s melty and slightly charred.
- Once the chicken is done, layer it on top of the rice and add the Bachan sauce that comes with the box.
- Then add an organic pasture-raised egg yolk.
Tip: If you prefer not to use raw egg, cook it onsen-style for that soft, yolky texture. - Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and enjoy!
