Caramelized Banana Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 slice milk bread
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

Matcha Butter

  • 3 tbsp butter (softened)
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup kefir
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Lightly toast the milk bread until golden.
  2. In a pan over low heat, melt the butter and slowly caramelize the banana slices until soft and lightly browned.
  3. Make the matcha butter: mix the softened butter with matcha powder, salt, and sugar. Add kefir to create a creamy, balanced spread.
  4. Spread the matcha butter generously over the toasted bread, top with the caramelized bananas, and enjoy!
