Hot Chocolate Sago in Rice Cooker

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sago
  • 1 cup sweet potato balls
  • 5 cups hot water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate
  • 1/4 cup chocolate kefir
  • 1/2 cup marshmallows
  • Mint candy canes

Instructions

  1. In your rice cooker (Mine is Zojirushi), add the sago, sweet potato balls, and hot water. Cook on the regular rice setting.
  2. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  3. In the same rice cooker, add the milk, cacao powder, milk chocolate, and chocolate kefir. Cook on the quick setting until everything is melted and smooth.
  4. Add the cooked sago and sweet potato balls back into the chocolate mixture.
  5. Swirl melted marshmallows around the inside of your serving cup.
  6. Pour in the hot chocolate, then top with chocolate chips and crushed mint candy canes. Enjoy!
