Sausage Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 puff pastry sheets
  • 4 sausages
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)
  • Shredded cheddar and mozzarella

Instructions

  1. If your puff pastry sheets are large, cut each one in half so the size matches your sausages.
  2. Roll each sausage tightly in a piece of puff pastry.
  3. Use a chopstick to make evenly spaced hasselback-style cuts along the top.
  4. Gently twist each cut section, pushing one side up and the other down to create a braided effect.
  5. Brush the tops with egg wash, then sprinkle generously with cheddar and mozzarella.
  6. Bake at 400°F for about 20 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and enjoy!
