Air Fryer Crispy Tofu

Ingredients

Tofu

  • 1 block firm tofu
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooking oil spray

Stir-Fry Sauce

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp chopped scallions
  • 1 tbsp vegan fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Pat the tofu dry thoroughly with paper towels to remove as much moisture as possible.
  2. Cut the tofu into evenly sized cubes and place them in the air fryer basket.
  3. Lightly spray the tofu with cooking oil.
  4. Air fry at 400°F for 10 minutes, flip, then cook for another 10 minutes. Add extra time if needed until golden and crispy.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. To make the stir-fry sauce, heat a pan over medium heat and add the cooking oil, garlic, scallions, vegan fish sauce, sriracha, and soy sauce. Toss in the crispy tofu and stir quickly to coat.
  7. Serve with rice or your dish of choice and enjoy!
