Ingredients
- ½ white onion, sliced
- 10 thinly sliced beef rolls
- 1 bunch enoki mushrooms
- 1 tbsp butter
- ½ cup corn
- Scallions, chopped
- Freshly ground pepper
- 1 cup cooked rice
- Cooking oil
Sauce
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 tbsp yuzu sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 tbsp water
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the fish sauce, garlic, hot sauce, yuzu sauce, brown sugar, and water. Set aside.
- Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until softened and lightly browned.
- Divide the enoki mushrooms and roll them tightly inside the beef slices.
- Spread the cooked rice over the onions in an even layer. Arrange the beef-enoki rolls around the pan.
- Add a knob of butter and sprinkle the corn over the top. Drizzle the sauce evenly over everything. Cover and cook until the beef is cooked through and everything is fragrant.
- Top with scallions and a sprinkle of black pepper. Serve hot and enjoy!
