Ingredients
- 2 large nori sheets
- 2½ rice paper sheets
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 tbsp furikake
- 2 tbsp flying fish roe (tobiko)
- ½ avocado, sliced
- 3 tbsp tuna
- 1 egg, cooked (fried or scrambled)
- 5 slices cucumber
- Cooking oil
Instructions
- Lightly soak two rice paper sheets in water until pliable. Slightly overlap them to form a larger base, then place the two nori sheets on top.
- Make one cut from the bottom edge toward the center, and another cut halfway across from the opposite side to create sections for folding (like a wrap hack style).
- Mix furikake and tobiko into the rice. Add the rice to one section. Layer avocado, tuna, egg, and cucumber into separate sections. Finish with a little more rice to help everything hold together.
- old each section over the next to form a compact sandwich. Use the remaining half sheet of rice paper to seal the open edge if needed.
- Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium heat. Pan-fry the sandwich until crispy and golden on both sides.
