Shrimp Steam Egg

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 500ml hot water
  • 5 shirmps
  • 1/2 cup firm tofu
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce- Water for steaming

Instructions

  1. Whisk the eggs in a steaming tray.
  2. Gradually add hot water while whisking until well combined.- Add in tofu and place the shrimps on top
  3. Bring water to a boil in a pot, then place the steaming tray inside.
  4. Steam on medium heat for 10 minutes, then reduce to low and steam for another 10 minutes.
  5. Let it sit covered for 5 minutes before uncovering.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil and light soy sauce before serving.
