Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp honey
- Garlic (use generously)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp shallot sauce
- 2 tbsp chili sauce
- Cornstarch (for coating the chicken)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Neutral cooking oil
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Coat the chicken evenly with cornstarch.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of neutral oil in a pan over high heat. Cook the chicken until the skin is crispy.
- In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in the soy sauce, shallot sauce, chili sauce, and honey until well combined.
- Add the crispy chicken to the sauce, coating it thoroughly.
