Ingredients
- 1 chicken breast
- 1 bag Calbee Shrimp Chips
- 1 bag Calbee Hot & Spicy Chips
- Salt and pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup potato starch
- Cooking oil for frying
Spice Mix
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp shaoxing wine
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 tsp five-spice powder
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1/4 tsp sugar
Instructions
- Slice the chicken breast in half without cutting all the way through, then pound it flat.
- Marinate the chicken in the spice mix for 30 minutes.
- For the coating, crush the Calbee Shrimp Chips and mix with potato starch, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the marinated chicken evenly in the beaten egg then chip mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat, then fry the chicken until golden brown, making sure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove from the pan, and sprinkle with crushed Calbee Hot & Spicy Chips for extra flavor.
