Ingredients
- 1 cup rice
- 1 egg
- 1 cup water
- Assorted mushrooms
- Edamame beans
- 1 king salmon fillet
Tamarind Sauce
- 1 tbsp miso
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp honey
Instructions
- Make the miso marinade and place the salmon fillet in
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Wash the rice thoroughly, beat the egg and mix it into the washed rice until each grain is coated
- In a rice cooker, add the egg-coated rice, mushrooms and edamame beans
- Place the marinated salmon on top
- Pour the remaining marinade over the ingredients
- Add 1 cup of water to the pot
- Cook the rice according to your rice cooker’s instructions
- Fluff the rice, if the water ratio is right, there will be some scorched rice. Mix gently, and serve hot
