Crispy Chicken Thigh in Airfryer

Ingredients:

For the Chicken: 

  • 5 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs 
  • 3 tbsp baking powder 
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour 
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika 
  • ½ tsp garlic powder 
  • ½ tsp ground ginger 
  • ½ tsp salt 
  • Extra virgin olive oil spray 
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish 

For the Mango Hot Honey Sauce: 

  • ½ cup honey 
  • ¼ cup Yondu all-purpose seasoning 
  • 1 fresh mango, diced 
  • 3 tbsp hot sauce 
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika 
  • ½ tsp garlic powder 

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl or resealable bag, mix the baking powder, flour, and seasonings. 
  2. Pat chicken thighs dry, then add them to the mixture and toss until fully coated. 
  3. Arrange the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer and spray lightly with olive oil. 
  4. Air fry at 400°F for 15 minutes, no flipping necessary. 
  5. While the chicken cooks, make the mango hot honey sauce: combine all sauce ingredients in a saucepan over medium-low heat and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir occasionally, then remove from heat. 
  6. Once the chicken is golden and crispy, drizzle generously with the mango hot honey sauce. 
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
