Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
- 5 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 3 tbsp baking powder
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- ½ tsp salt
- Extra virgin olive oil spray
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
For the Mango Hot Honey Sauce:
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup Yondu all-purpose seasoning
- 1 fresh mango, diced
- 3 tbsp hot sauce
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
- In a bowl or resealable bag, mix the baking powder, flour, and seasonings.
- Pat chicken thighs dry, then add them to the mixture and toss until fully coated.
- Arrange the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer and spray lightly with olive oil.
- Air fry at 400°F for 15 minutes, no flipping necessary.
- While the chicken cooks, make the mango hot honey sauce: combine all sauce ingredients in a saucepan over medium-low heat and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir occasionally, then remove from heat.
- Once the chicken is golden and crispy, drizzle generously with the mango hot honey sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
