Ingredients
- 2 slices milk bread
- 40 g salted butter (or unsalted + 1 tsp salt)
- 40 g flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- A small pinch of turmeric
- 3 slices butter (for sandwich)
- A spoonful of caviar
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the room-temperature butter, sugar, milk, baking soda, flour, and turmeric until smooth and well combined.
- Spread the mixture evenly over the bread slices and use a knife to create a cross-hatch pattern on top.
- Bake at 400 °F (200 °C) for 12 minutes, until golden.
- Assemble the sandwich by adding butter between the slices and placing a spoonful of caviar in the center.
- Slice in half and enjoy!
