Caramelized Banana Sago

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 cup sago pearls
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup kefir

Instructions

  1. Slice the bananas and set aside. Cook the sago pearls according to package instructions.
  2. In a pan, melt the butter and brown sugar, then add the banana slices. Cook until caramelized.
  3. Add the cooked sago to the caramelized bananas and stir until well combined.
  4. Freeze the milk in an ice cube tray. Once frozen, shave into fluffy ice using a shaved ice machine.
  5. To serve, place the shaved milk ice in a bowl, drizzle kefir on top, then finish with the caramelized banana sago. Enjoy immediately!
