Buldak Noodles with Gochujang Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of buldak noodles
  • 1 tbsp mayo
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp siracha
  • 2 tbsp boiled noodles water
  • Scallions and toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Gochujang Sauce

  • 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1-2 tsp minced garlic (optional but recommended)
  • 2-3 tbsp water (to thin, adjust for desired sauce consistency)

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles: Boil noodles, reserve 2 tbsp water, drain, then toss with mayo, egg yolk, and sriracha until coated.
  2. Make sauce: In a pan, mix gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and water; heat until smooth.
  3. Cook chicken: Air-fry or bake the chicken in the oven, then toss in the sauce.
  4. Assemble: Plate noodles, top with gochujang chicken, and garnish with scallions and sesame seeds.
