Tuna Sushi Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ sheets nori
  • 1 cup cooked sushi rice
  • 1 tbsp furikake
  • 1 tbsp tobiko (flying fish roe)
  • 1 mini cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 smoked salmon
  • 1 tuna burger
  • Sriracha mayo
  • 1 egg
  • ½ avocado, sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook the sushi rice according to package directions, then mix in the furikake for extra umami flavor.
  1. Lay one full sheet of nori on a clean surface and spread half (½ cup) of the seasoned rice in the center.
  2. Sprinkle the tobiko evenly over the rice.
  3. Add cucumber slices, followed by smoked salmon and tuna burger.
  4. Drizzle with mayonnaise and sriracha.
  5. Layer on the avocado slices, then top with the remaining ½ cup of rice.
  6. Use the remaining ¼ sheet of nori to cover the top, folding in the edges to form a neat “sushi burger.”
  7. Wrap tightly with plastic wrap, let it rest for a minute to hold its shape, then cut in half and enjoy!
