Ingredients
- 1 pack King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls
- 4-5 tbsp ssamjang
- 1 cup kimchi
- 2 green peppers
- 3-5 garlic
- 4 lettuce
- 2 scallions
For the Pork Marinade: - 1 lb thinly sliced pork shoulder
- 3 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp gochugaru
- 3 tbsp soysauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp garlic
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 onion
- 5-6 shiitake mushrooms
Instructions
- Shred the scallions finely and soak them in a bowl of cold water to curl.
- Marinate the pork for at least 30 mins.
- Cook the marinated pork until caramelized.
- Use store-bought ssamjang or make it fresh if preferred.
- Slice the slider rolls in half. Spread ssamjang on the bottom half.
- Add a layer of kimchi, green peppers, garlic slices, lettuce, cooked pork, and shredded scallions. Top with the other half of the roll.
