Frozen Cantaloupe Ice Cream

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe cantaloupe
  • 1/4 cup milk or heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions:

  1. Cut the cantaloupe in half and remove the seeds. Carve a shallow groove down the center of one half to make it easier to scrape later.
  2. Wrap one cantaloupe half tightly with plastic wrap and freeze overnight, or until completely frozen. Keep the other half refrigerated.
  3. Remove the frozen cantaloupe from the freezer. Drizzle in the honey, followed by the milk or heavy cream.
  4. Using a spoon, gently scrape and churn the frozen cantaloupe flesh into the liquid as it begins to soften.
  5. Continue scraping and mixing until the mixture becomes thick, smooth, and creamy, with a soft ice cream-like texture.
  6. Serve immediately and top with fresh cantaloupe cubes for the perfect refreshing summer treat. Enjoy!
